For a couple of years now, teachers and other DepEd employees are being required to register and use their own DepEd Email Account. Unfortunately, many are still unsuccessful in creating one. Today I’ll be providing a comprehensive tutorial about it.
Here’s a definitive guide in creating and verifying a DepEd Email Account.
How do I register for my Google Account (DepEd Email Account)?
STEP 1. Please make sure that you have a PC, laptop, or a smartphone, and a reliable internet connection.
STEP 2. Using your computer or mobile browser, visit: depedverify.appspot.com/public/account-request and fill in the registration form with the correct information
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) number
- First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name (Suffix, optional)
- Date of Birth
- EXISTING AND WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS
Once you have successfully registered, you will be automatically redirected to the Google Apps log-in page
STEP 3. To complete your registration, a verification officer will be in touch with you as soon as possible to provide you with your account details. The officer will contact you via the email address and/or contact number you provided on the registration form. Notice that I have emphasized the use of EXISTING AND WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS.
NOTE: An existing and working email address is the one that you use on a regular basis. It is your primary email where you regularly log on to check personal, business, or work related emails.
STEP 4. Log on to your primary email. Check if there’s a new email from email@example.com with a subject DepEd: Account Verified (YOUR NAME). If yes, then you now have a verified DepEd Email Account. You may now login at: https://mail.google.com/a/deped.gov.ph.
Otherwise, please always check your email for a new message from deped.gov.ph. Also, you may check your Spam folder. In some cases, the verification email goes to the Spam folder that’s why users cannot see it promptly.

2. I’ve already registered. How can I access my Google Account?
Go to the Google Apps log-in page at https://mail.google.com/a/deped.gov.ph
Key-in your username and password. Your username and password should have been provided upon successful registration.
3. I have already registered, but my account needs verification. What is the next step?
A verification officer will be in touch with you as soon as possible to verify your DepEd employment status and registration details. You will be contacted via the email address and/or contact number you provided on the registration form. Once approved, the officer will give you your account details.
4. I am unable to access my account. My password is not working. I forgot my password and/or username.
Visit https://depedverify.appspot.com/public/password-reset and provide the necessary details. Upon approval, a password reset link will be sent to you via email.
5. I have a question about my account.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your question or concern and they will answer your query as soon as possible.
